Every dataset tells a story waiting to be discovered. As a Data Detective, your mission is to take real-world health or biomedical datasets and uncover meaningful insights through data analysis or research review.

In this year’s competition, you can choose between two tracks:

● Data Analysis – Analyze datasets to explore a question in health and biomedicine

● Research Review – Select existing research studies, examine their data collection and statistical methods, and evaluate the validity of their conclusions

Our Dual-Instruction Model Classroom is a pioneering educational initiative that began as a pilot program in early 2020. Originally designed as an after-school Math Olympiad enrichment program for elementary students in private schools, it has grown into a dynamic and effective model for global learning collaboration.

In this classroom, experienced and highly skilled teachers from China conduct live, interactive math instruction in Chinese using advanced teaching software. Meanwhile, in the U.S. classroom, a Chinese-English bilingual teaching assistant supports students with classroom management, provides one-on-one help, and bridges any language gaps.

This dual-instruction model allows students to learn from top educators worldwide, while effectively addressing challenges common in remote learning—such as maintaining engagement and managing young learners in a classroom setting. It also helps minimize language barriers for students with limited Chinese proficiency, creating a truly immersive and supportive learning experience.
